IN THE SUPREME COURT OF THE STATE OF ALASKA ORDER NO. 1391 Amending Personnel Rules PX3.03 and C3.02.03 concerning the internal recruitment process. IT IS ORDERED: 1. Personnel Rule PX3.03 is amended to read as follows: PX3.03 Internal Recruitment Process: Exempt and temporary employees may not compete in recruitment processes which are limited to regular, partially exempt, and probationary employees. 2. Personnel Rule C3.02.03 is amended to read as follows: C3.02.03 Internal Recruitment Process The human resources director may announce a recruitment process on an internal basis when the human resources director determines adequate competition exists among regular, partially exempt, and eligible probationary employees. Notice of internal positions will be sent to all court locations and posted for at least five (5) working days after the date of the recruitment notice. A probationary employee must be continuously employed with the Alaska Court System for at least six (6) months to be eligible to compete in any internal recruitment process. When an internal recruitment process is announced, applications will be accepted from persons eligible for rehire and eligible probationary, partially exempt, and regular employees of the Alaska Court System only.
