Limited Public Access

Effective June 15, 2020

• All court hearings are telephonic or by video unless otherwise specifically ordered. No admittance to the court building for hearings. Telephonic Hearings & Conference numbers.
• For customer assistance, most services will be handled by telephone. The Clerks’ offices will have limited public access by appointment only. For assistance or an appointment, call:
  • Paying Bail - 452-9266
  • Domestic violence, stalking, or other protective proceeding emergency petitions - 452-9254
  • Civil, Small Claims, Appeals, or Marriage Licenses - 452-9267
  • Criminal - 452-9289
  • Jury Office – 452-9225
  • Minor Offense or Traffic – 452-9238
  • Probate - 452-9256
  • Child in Need of Aid or Juvenile Delinquency – 452-9257
  • Parenting Plan Resolution Office – 452-9360
• Visitors with an appointment must meet the court’s health screening requirements, wear a face covering, and maintain social distancing or entrance will not be allowed.
• Law library is open Monday-Thursday from 12:00-4:00 p.m. No appointment is needed. Remote service is available via email at library@akcourts.gov or phone at 1-888-282-2082.
• To file new cases or documents with the Fairbanks Court:
  • File by electronic mail pursuant to Presiding Judge Administrative Order 19-02.
  • Mail to Alaska Court System, 101 Lacey Street, Fairbanks, AK 99701.
  • Use the court lobby drop box.
